I hope a speedy recovery to both. And a long sentence to the drunk driver that almost killed them

Losing my first wife of 10 years to cancer taught me that life is short and unpredictable no matter what you do. I used to ride sans helmet, but just have seen to many of these where none was worn. Will be keeping both of them in my prayers for a speedy and full recovery.

I do have one question and i know that I might get flamed for it but so what. Does this mean that we need to go else where for our retracts for a while or does he have people that help him do this? Just wanted to know because I talked to him 2 weeks ago about a set for an ESM Mustang that I just ordered.

Gotta say: this isn't the time or the place to be critical of people who ride motorcycles, nor their choice to wear or not to wear helmets. I gotta wonder how many of the critics smoke cigarettes, or flaunt with some other danger/ risk in thier lives?
I am reminded of a famous drag racer who retired from racing a few years ago, took up a 'safer' hobby: radio control airplanes. He was killed after being struck by his own plane. And BTW: he had a spotter. Life is dangerous, we all take risks, get over it. Let's offer our support to Darrell and his wife, and channel critisms at a more appropriate time in a more appropriate manner.

And again, to Darrell: sincerely hoping you and your wife have a speedy and complete recovery.

Wow!!! and I've been wondering what the delay with my hubs has been. Just goes to prove, don't jump to conclusions or judgements before you have the facts.
I hope you and your wife are, and will be OK Darrell. Get well!

Darryl and Theodora are in our prayers. We pray for a full and quick recovery.

In all the comments above, not a soul has mentioned or complained about the CAUSE of this tragedy....that would be DRIVING DRUNK, specifically the individual that decided to drive that vehicle [drunk], regardless of the danger to others in particular or themselves.

I don't think we should worry about orders we have made or would like to make, but for those who insist, it has already been mentioned on this thread that those working for/with Darrell are still working on products and keeping the business going.

Darrell, best wishes and a speedy recovery to you and your wife.

Considering the timing of this unfortunate event, Tim's and Chris's arrival into the Sierra workforce could not have been better even if planned.......life is like that.

We all look forward to seeing both of you back on your feet very soon.

Best Regards,
