hmm specs kinda have me worried
2mm aluminum is kinda thin for a chassis. it Might work seeing it also has side rails, but from experience 2mm alum chassis's bend kinda easy (I've bent 2, and I don't even race or do jumps like on race tracks)
Wish they would have just came out with a kit for around $130ish
The controller looks weird
I also love the slo-mo in the video or what they try and make look like slo-mo I'm guessing that was real speed

Well still looks like a decent competitor to the traxxas XL-5 line, and I like the layout will have to wait to see how it performs.

Edit: wow just re-read it and one line made no sense what so ever, what I get for having 3 hours of sleep

the price scares me away, 200$ for something with a brushed motor just doesn't tickle my fancy

I just don't see why one would buy that instead of something from a more well known brand.

that really is to me too
the electrix had it right for their 1st RC's come in cheap to get interest, and sell. These IMO at $130 with a cheaper radio would have been good, but at their price there are other options with well established companies(which you know will still be around in a year), and models.

I will say I like its design.

Yeah $200 is a bit steep to spend on a car whose company doesnt have too much of a background with producing RC cars

But I guess you have to start somewhere.............

I'm not trying to sound rude, but why would people be so impressed with those RCs. I could be missing something, but they sound pretty run-of-the-mill. Let alone, as others have said, the company is unheard of (by me, at least) and the price is scary.

So which was it, sales or R&D.

Because if you've got a salesman that went onto R&D, and now owns their own company, it tells me they're someone that figured out a way to make cheaper crap and putting fancy paint and slick advertising to hide its flaws (or put pigs in dresses, and try and convince you they're HOT).

There's a spelling mistake in the title. It's ARRMA, not ARMA!

One thing to consider about ARRMA. They are owned by Team Durango, so they do have some knowledge about RC.

Now I'm not going to suggest that ARRMA is any good, but I think it's Durango's effort into the "low price" market.

ARRMA's address Unit 7, Charter Point Way, Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, LE65 1NF
Team Durango's address Unit 7, Charter Point Way, Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, LE65 1NF
Dboots is also at that address
