We see the user names, and we can check out the biography section of a profile, but nothing beats a self introduction.

Tell us about yourself here. Start a new thread just for you and put your name in the subject. How long have you been flying and how long have you been racing? Where do you fly? Been to any contests lately? Added photos to the photo gallery lately?

Tell us whatever about yourself you want. And update us when events happen in your life that you want to share.

This is a good place to put personal info that might not feel right in the other forums.

Hi,
I race in the Bay Area, No. California at Diablo Valley Radio Controllers ( www.dvrc.org )
I have raced in 2 events as a Novice. I love it!!! At first, I just wanted to finish the race with my plane intact. We race the World Models T-34 Mentor. All with same engine (OS 46FX) although recently OS discontinued the 46FX so we are allowing the 46AX. Anyway I am now in second place in the novice class. We decided to hold one event a month and accrue points through the year. We also decided to allow racers to toss out one event, in case they had to miss one etc. We are having a ball. I am now looking at ways to increase times better starts, etc. etc. Any advice? -OR- Links?
