I am so confused there is one for like $159 and one for $193 And with all the same specs.
The $193 one is available now and the other is on back order , then there is what looks like around $63 for shipping.
Still not bad , still keeps me at a $250 mark.. and I sure will gang. so far the reviews are pretty good on it.
Jeff

BTW I just ordered a OS 155 4S *oops*
LOL

Hey all! Is it to late to join the brotherhood? My 1/3 scale BUSA Super Cub is in the bones and ready for fabric. I have owned many Cubs in my long life and this one will be my BABY forever. BL

Very nice photos, the hanger 9 indeed looks awesome but its out of my $$ range...
Then I found this and wow.. I guess it IS CHEAP LOL
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__17992__Hobbyking_Piper_J_3_Cub_1_20_Glow_2310mm_ARF_.html
But looks OK
Now the red starburst from world is $379
This above one is only $159 how can they do that?

I have the 1830mm standard wing 0.40 version of this I bought from NitroPlanes Halloween Special for $91; I'm just starting it. It's yellow instead of red/white like HKs Clipped-Wing Cub, and it comes with the HK manual... :-/

This is a newer version with different gear; I'm STILL not impressed knowing what mine look like up close.

http://www.nitroplanes.com/cmp-cub-ep-1830mm-kit.html#

It's got unbelievable build quality; the wings are straight, the wood cuts are clean and the covering is as good as my best job. I'm actually jealous of the work. But... be prepared to buy the Great Planes GPMQ1855 060 size Aluminum landing gear for it; this adds $20 to the cost of your kit, plus if you're like me, you're taking off in short-clipped grass and need to get bigger wheels than the 3"ers that come with, so add another $20-30. I may hack one of the 3" to fit the tail... :P

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJ926&P=FR

The OEM gear look okay in the photo, but when you get them you see they're utter CRAP, literally made of coathanger wire welded to 4mm nuts to make pivots. These aluminum gear fit lik
e they were made for the plane if you overlap the halves so the inner pair of screw holes line up. I bent mine in a 5" vise to make the overlap flush; then I silicone RTVed the triangular panels from the OE gear to the outside since I was having a hard time finding paint to match. I figure if I paint the aluminum gloss black and some 4.25"- 4.50" wheels on it, the part the panels don't cover won't look too bad; I really don't mind it that much in bare aluminum.

It wants THIS motor for electric; though I subbed a similar 1100KV motor since I plan to stick with 3S so I can dual-purpose my 450 Heli packs.

Charlie;yes I do have the 26 in the cub.I did not use the J-3 cowl I went to the supercub cowl and made a new manafold to face the carb aft so not to cut holes in the cowl.I had a G-23 in it at first(the 1/4 scale sig)then went to the 26,it still weighs about 16lbs.I'll be going to tundra tires for all the rough ground I fly from(farm country).that engine will fit rite in no problem.get the single exaust from B&B its flater and wont bulge out the cowl, just a thaught, have fun with it.George.
