This  http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXD819&P=M and I believe any automotive or bicycle tire type pump will work.

So about how much pressure you guys running in these type tires?
and thanks once agian... that adapter should work.. I forgot to post
what I use above. it is there now. what is nice about it ,, is that when you
disconnect the pump you loose no air from what your filling even at one lbs.

that I should use in the 1/4 scale cub? about 16 lbs ?

I like the Futaba S3010. But this is a loaded question. There are many that fit the bill.
And there is only one way we will ever have one last question.

OK, It's time to instsall my servos before covering my 1/3 Super Cub. Will the HS-755HB Hitec be safe to use @ 183.31 oz in .? I bought 6 of these before I started the build, being retired on avery small pension money is tight but I would put off instalation if they are a bad choice.  Thanks Lacy

Hitec 485-HB develop 83 oz of tourque at 6volts. They cost approx $15. I have them on all my 40's planes and one 1/4 Cub. More than adequate

Cool thanks. then maybe I should look in my drawer and look at some of my new Futaba
servos and see what there rated at 6 volts then. so we are looking at torque rather than
the size then I guess. heck I must have 15 new lower scale servos laying around.
forgot the even think what they do at 6 volts. all these years I have been running
at 4,8 volt nicads. now since back into this everything is converted to the LiFe 6 volt Battery's and
and my radios are 2.4 fasst now.
So basicley we want over 35 in torque then. higher the better.

Servocity.com Has both Hitec and Futaba servos at a good price. I was told that if you use a 6v pack for your reciver, you better also us a 6v voltage reg. on the servo leads. The reason being that a new and fully charged reciver pack is over 6v and will cause problems with the servos jumping around untill the reciver pack drops down to 6v.

I really like the Futaba 9202. One of the best coreless servos available. They are precise, moderate cost, have enough power to get the job done in a CUB and they seemingly last forever. Just a great all around servo.

Well Guys.. I ordered 1/4 J3 Cub last Sunday from Hobby King. Took 5 Days to ship from Washington to Iowa.
The Kit was double boxed and no damage. from what I can see all the parts are here and the instructions
that are used are from World Models The kit is Identical to it pretty much. for about half the price, everything
seems to be well put together and the covering is perfect. This box is HUGE and I need to finish putting more
hangers up on the wall to get room to build wish me luck! and thanks so much for all your help.
Jeff

Price $197.00
Shipping $63.00
I have never had this kind of fast shipping through Hobby King before.
not sure what's up with that.

I need to ask;is everybody using ORINGS on the landing gear on cubs?I was thinking of trying pull springs so you would never have to keep replacing them every 2 or 3 mounths.I use the 1/8th by 1" by 1 1/4 orings and they crack and break after that time if I find the rite ones I'll post them,I think my local ace hardware mite have what we need.50 cent a pop starts adding up after awhile.I looked into mcmaster-carr and cant find what we need, maybe I'm just not finding it,any comments please would help.George.

Hmmm... I was going to use 1/8" bungie I purchased from REI.  I'm using it on my H9 Sopwith and it's working so far.  For some reason the O-rings do not last long at all for me, it may be our climate.  But now that I've heard about the springs, and acerc is recommending them, I might just give those a try!
