I was just getting used to seeing all of the amazing products coming from China nowadays, when I just stumbled upon this little gem...

My wife and I just ate at a Chinese restaurant and I discovered that they now have a cookie that can predict the future!

If they really wanted to be smart, they should put the winning lottery numbers on the back and then everyone could have a fortune.

Being Italian, I applaud them for spaghetti...

But gunpowder???

I mean, who said, "I'm gonna mix up some burnt wood, sulfur and bird crap and see what happens when I light it!"

That man was a true visionary!

Cool, what will those wiley buggers think of next? Maybe a cookie that can predict the future on one side and win the lottery on the other. Now that would be hot.

Maybe they use the cookie dough for glue... I think that's what I found when my landing gear blocks came apart... What there was of it!

For me the cookies always say the same thing "You will cleanse to great satisfaction today!".

Funny thing is that it always comes true after I eat Chinese.

And that cookie is actually based on a Japanese invention and really only became popular after being introduced by Chinese immigrants in California. You'll never see a fortune cookie served after a meal in China...

Now Chinese fortune sticks are much more interesting.

Eat Chinese food and an hour later you're hungry. Eat Mexican food and an hour later you WISH you'd eaten Chinese.

Hey this is unfair ! In France they don't serve you with any fortune cookies in Chinese restaurants.

But to be honest I must say that the ARFs are of the same quality.

Before you give the Chinese too much credit, you might want to give this a read:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fortune_cookie

I found that because I was curious why I wasn't able to find fortune cookies in China.

I ordered a spinner from China one month ago, still waiting.
Maybe I have to go to a chinesse rest here to see if the fortune cookie tells me where  is it?
