Status: offline 		This winter I'm planning on getting a BF-110C from ESM. I was wondering if you guys had any experience with this model and what engines you suggest, I was thinking of getting some Laser 120s or DLE-20s. So what do you guys think?

Status: offline 		I have the ESM B-25 which is similar in size to this plane. I used the DLE 20 engines and it will fly both of these 95" WS planes at 3/4 throttle. I have the ESM Spitfire 72" wingspan with the OS 120 AX and you will spend a fortune on fuel if you decide to use that engine. My B-25 is 33.5 lbs and I am flying it with 8 oz tanks. Not only is the fuel cheaper for the DLE 20's it uses much less than the OS 120's. Good Luck with your choice

Status: offline 		But the sound of 2x four stroke engines is much much more nicer, and especially the lasers, than 2 strokes petrols.

Status: offline 		Ok, good to know tevans55 and yes I agree dutch Jan Hermkens but I don't really want to spend a ton on fuel. Though I would be interested in four stroke gas engines if you guys know of reasonably priced ones.

I don't think you will be disappointed by the sound of twin DLE 20's with Jetc wraparound mufflers.

Status: offline 		You do not need twin sync. These engines will run within 100 rpm on the high and low end when properly adjusted and broken in. I made sure to break mine in on the ground with about 6 hours of run time on both before I flew my plane. You absolutely will not have any problems getting these engines to run together...they are fantastic engines. Use this information below from JediJody to break in your engines.

Status: offline 		Great! Well that saves me about a hundred bucks, thanks for all the help. I'll let you guys know when I'm finished getting all the parts and putting the plane together (might not be until spring though).

Status: offline 		Let me know if I can help with setup. I set up the engines with a servo on the chokes which made shutting down the engines easy. I also used one 3500 mAh Nicad for both engines. I was able to use this battery as nose wieght. I put 2 leads on the battery and a switch/charge jack on the side of each nacelle. That way I could charge the battery from either jack and turn the power on/off at each engine individually during startup. Good Luck!
