I ran up to the swap meet in Nashville yesterday. Nice turnout, lots of great stuff to seperate you from your money. Mine was the above mentioned Bf 109. It's no topgun contestant, but it looks like it's built nice and straight and solid. Has had a few doinks in the past, and some of the details are a little, well, not so distinct anymore. I did get the spinner with it, but I don't know if I have a warm and fuzzy about it, it looks like it was cut with a pair of tin snips, and the backplate appears a little distorted.
The seller thought it had a G62 originally, I originally thought it might need more along the lines of a super 80 but from what I see online, they fly just fine on the Zenoah so I think that'll be what goes back in.

I can't say I'm totally thrilled with the desert camo scheme, but it's different and refinishing will be the last thing I do. I'm trying to remember what the bulges on teh top of the wing are for, they're not the usual bulges for the landing gear. I seem to recall something about aux fuel, but I'm no 109 expert. It has flaps, but from what I've seen the inboard ones are supposed to be split flaps and not plain flaps. There is a bellcrank arrangement to deploy the flaps, I may substitute another servo. Speaking of servos, the elevator/rudder are big ole quarter scale servos, I think twin elevator servos sound better to me, but that will require some internal rework of pushrods and such. The tailwheel will work for now, but I would like to fit the correct tailwheel with an internal pull pull, but again, that will require some serious rework.

It's got CJ gear, and their control valve, but I think I may substitute a robart control setup. Just what I'm comfortable with. I hope to have it back in the air in a week or two, depending on hwo soon I can get stuff, and progress on some other projects.

I think the wing you have is for a K model 109 while th canopy says it is probably a G model 109. So, whats the going rate for a 1/4scale 109?

Less than Century gets for the gear... and not much more than a good used G62 goes for.....

G10-K model wings and a F model fuselage (may be a G2-G4). Stick some more bits and pieces on it (from Dino at Meister scale) and turn it into a G10?
