I have been doing some looking around, and not having much luck finding the WW1 type in the 26-6 size..

can anyone recommend a site? I tried Balsa USA first, but they seem to be out of them.

Try Bobs Hobbies in Florida. They are VERY closely related to the importer of Xoar and if they don't have it, they can more than likely point you in the right direction.

Hi give us a call at Bobs Hobby Center in Orlando. We have the largest inventory in the states as we are the distributor for Xoar and Falcon props.

We have also launched last week the new German Axial Propeller

What style of prop are you looking for?

I am looking for a prop for a 1/3 pup, and I am not even sure which Xoar prop would be closest to accurate. Or quite frankly just looks the best I am going to have to give you a call...

I am thinking I need/want a 26-8 ...

Abu, if you pass thru here, what Xoar prop do you like? hahahahah

Since I consider you the OFFICIAL expert,

derjager,
Can you provide some more info on the Axial prop?

That is a good looking prop but I would like to see it in a simatar ( how ever it's spelled) style that looks more like the old props they used on the WWI planes.

FWIW, Xoar's Sabre style is probably the closest to scale that you're likely to find in their range - here's a pic of a genuine Pup with prop that's in the RAF Museum at Hendon.

I like the prop, but I thought the laminations could have been thinner, more layers. But its still better than I could do. Here are a few pictures of full size DVII's and they have this style of prop. I know that you can find just as many planes with the scimitar prop on them. So I think its up to the builder as to the style they like. Each to their own.
