Has anyone had trouble with the getting a glider put together with the european instructions?  I looked at the manual for an e-powered glider from Esprit and there are mostly pictures with symbols.

I'm just finishing up an Avia. Of course, having built model airplanes since the 50s really helps, I didn't see anything that needed to be said in those instructions. The only detail that was questionable had to do with the horns. They have flap, aileron, and ruddervator horns and were all similar, but the detail was there in the drawings when you looked.

BTW, I'm quite pleased with those people. I've ordered a number of things from them recently and gotten it all quicker than anybody I've ordered from so far. They're as quick or quicker than Tower.

Thanks for the input.  I have crashed and re-built most of my glow powered planes and am getting pretty good at it.  The instructions are probably a no brainer and I am worrying about nothing.  This will be my first glider.  I was at our field last summer and a member let me fly his and I learned how different it can be and had a such a great time I started looking on line at them.  My next problem is that apperently beginners shouldn't have ailerons but all the nice glders have them.  I don't really want to buy a foamy.  I am definitly looking at e-powered models.  Thanks again.

BTW I went to a meeting last night and talked to my new soaring freind and showed him the poop on the Siesta 1.9E and he told me he thought is was pretty good but that I would "have to fly it".  He thinks since I have been flying glow with aeilerons I can do it ok.  I do love this hobby!
