The Corsair is easy to build. However the cowling seems to be larger than the body when seen from the side. The undercarriage turns 90 degrees on retracting, very nice, but does not standup to rough landings. This is partly because it uses a 90 degree bell-crank. It needed a couple of ounces of lead in the nose to get the CG to balance.

The plane is fast in flight, using a OS 70 four stroke. It is stable and can do the basic aerobatics. But feels abit heavy compared to say a Black Horse Extra 300 using the same engine.
Takeoff requires some up elevator to keep the plane from nosing over.

Landing the plane is the problem. There is no flaps and the landing speed must be fast or it will stall. I have damaged the landing gear three times in 7 landings.

All things considered it probably flys like the real thing which I understand is also difficult to land.

It is pretty typical that cowlings do not fit well....that is a shame

With the flight characteristics that you have explained, how about moving the CG rearword?
