I'm having trouble finding a New Era Big Block conversion. The version made for Picco Max engines is available, but I'm not looking to put in a Picco max but a different engine altogether that is .21 to .28 (lil hush on the engine sorry)

How different is the kit for Picco max engine vs the regular NE BB conversion. Or where can I order a regular conversion from? Thanks much, I've let the Jato collect dust while I've been trying to find one. I even went ahead and started building a E-Revo for winter in the meantime. Thanks for any help.

Much thanks, I will do that, I have one other option to check out first but it's a lil sketchy doing deals overseas with places that don't normally ship internationally.

What you want bro is simple. Get yourself a Novarossi 25 supercharged, it's smaller than stock, but the thing is utter insane it makes so much power and rpm, it will also drop right in. Gear it to 3X/20 using revo gears for high speed passes, trust me it will be blistering fast, run STD Jato gears for a balance of a crazy fast truck with awesome wheelie madness.

http://www.novarossi.it/2012/index.php/en/products/off-road-engine-nova/2-5-cc/n25scrt-tm.html

I'll tell you most people will agree that Nova is arguably one of, if not the best engine for a Jato.

Getting that gearing on a Jato 34/30 will be a challenge of it's own, but toss it aside (for the moment) run 54/28 (STD jato gearing) that will be low enough to retain low end grunt with a great top speed. If you want to gear it up for speed grab a Revo 20t cb with a 40, 38' 36' 34' spur gears and keep dropping the tooth count on the spur as you want to increase top speed.

I suggest you gear lower to start so can actually see the increase in top speed as you gear up, and stop gearing up as you stop gaining top speed to avoid overgearing.
