Mike those Chief mounts are junk!!! Send it back and just use stand offs, alot easier. I tried using one of there mounts and wound up throwing it in the trash.

I'm liking the Sukhoi. As everyone hasd been saying, The ZDZ 80 is a great combo. Here are pictures from the maiden flight.

Just scored me one of these birds. It's used and needs some TLC. Will be putting a BME 110 on after a little recovering. Hitec 5945 all around except the rudder. It will have a Hitec 5735 on pull-pull. Fromeco battery system. I have always wanted one of these since I got into this sport 3 years ago. What do you guys think about a single servo on the ailerons. It seems like one would be plenty but not sure.

Single servo is fine if you put a good high torque one in place. I have completly stripped mine (nib) down to the bones, added shear webbing to the spars and put a servo box in for a single servo (box is further out then the inner one) on mine. The aileron was pretty stiff but I added some to the control horn attatch point to stiffen that bay up a bit. I hope to have it back out of storage for completion this winter. If all goes well, I will have it and a second airplane built for the spring and next IMAC season...

Thanks v-snap. That is what I am planning to do to mine. I was also thinking about loosing a little weight in the tail section. After building the H9 edge I think I could loose some of the balsa on the bottom and tail between the stringers. Seems like this plane is a little over built to me.
