I have a Tower 40 Kaos and it flies great in the wind.

What are some of the other ARFs that also fly great in the wind.

Thank you for the replies.

Todd

If you think that the Kaos .40 flies great in windy conditions then flying the .60 size will simply amaze you.

I've had a Twist 40 for around 4 yrs. It's the MOST fun in a strong wind ! You can head it into the wind & actually fly it "backwards." When landing, it will "park" ( NO rollout). It can fly slow or as fast as you want it to, on high rates it will aileron roll so fast you can hardly count them. It's MY favorite all around plane!!

Hands down: The Big Stik .60

Add some weight to it for even better wind handling ( I added a 3800mAh battery pack instead of a puny 800mAh one, just behind the wing... ) and you'll be hard pressed to find a better flyer in winds that will ground everyone else!

I love my Twist, but it gets pushed around VERY easily in winds, so it is only good for STEADY winds.

The Stik on the other hand, doesn't seem to care about any winds or changes.

+1
The Twist is a HOOT in the wind! I love mine for windy days. Any time the wind is strong, my Twist gets loaded in the van and is my main flyer. As you stated it will "park" or just fall straight to the ground in one spot. I have a 55AX on the front end and she is HOT.

Hanger 9 Tango, flies great in the wind.
I am never scared to fly it in any condition. It will also fly like a kite in the wind. And will flat spin great.

Hangar 9 Phoenix 7
Hangar 9 Pulse XT 40

Both handle good for me in the 15-20 mph winds and landing is good....the P-7 I would say the best.
