My old mercury need's new RPM sensor,   i live in south America, where can i find replacement parts?

I replaced the RPM sensor in my Mercury last year - I ordered one from the Netherlands from Bennie it was about 85 Euros so not cheap... Is yours and Airstart Mercury running from a 12v nicad pack?
