Status: offline 		I have a 5-cell 1200 Mah NiCd that has been in use for about 2 years in a plane. Hasn't been a weekly flier so the cycles on it are not high.

Anyway, I gave it over a day on a standard Futaba wall charger, then discharged it on a Hitec peak charge/discharge unit. It reported 120% of rated capacity on discharge.

Then I quick charged it at 500 Ma to the auto-cutoff of the peak charger. It read 7.2v after charge. Repeating the discharge measurement it only reported 80% of rated capacity.

Which is the better way to measure the health of my aging pack?? I'm thinking the slow charge is more accurate.

Status: offline 		I believe your thinking is correct.
Try charging it again with the wall wart and cycle.

I have packs that are over 5 years old and still doing great!
I personally wouldn't worry about that pack yet. Then again I cycle all of them once every three months.
