Skymaster all the way! I loved mine. Flew it with a Jet Central Rhino and plenty of power. Would suggest a Tam pipe for it...always a must on a bifurcated setup for better performance IMO. Flies really well, good construction, good gear. The install is a bit tighter than you would think but enough room for everything and some bling too.

SM's F-4 is a proven airframe for a while now, can't go wrong. Not a good first jet but a great one to have in the quiver.

Good luck,
Rex

I can only say BVM is the only real proven airframe out there because it has been around for atleast fifteen years or more. i don't exactly remember what year it came out but it started life as a ducted fan dream machine and it has turned into a turbine BAD ASS Rhino. Yes there is quite a bit of building to do on it but if built properly (per his instructions) you will have a plane that will last years. It is also more scale than any ARF out there.

My BVM F4 is 11 years old, it is definitely a build job so if you are looking for an ARF this ones not it. But if you want to build an F4 it's the candidate.

I fly a Skymaster. Its been a great jet. Once you get the CG its rock solid. BVM makes the most scale version IMO. But it's a little smaller. A 36 lb turbine would be awsome on a BVM. I'm using a Kingtech K-170 in mine and its plenty of power. Just can't do complete vertical rolls without the jet washing out on the top. But the vertical is pretty if you go full throttle into it.

I have my Skymaster F-4 for around 5 years now it really flies very well and from all the jets I have owned it is the only one I have never sold.

Rock solid, easy to fly, no bad tendencies... a denfinetly winner...

I have an FEJ and it's a great Phantom but to big for the P-160. I had a Skymaster as well with the 160sx and it really was great. I loved it and now the 2nd owner is enjoying it as well. Nice jet for sure.

I love my Skymaster F-4! I've had it for 3 years and put tons of flights on it. The plane has been very dependable. I have a P-200 for power and I feel it's the perfect match.

Skymaster F-4 is a good plane with no nasty habits if setup properly. Mine is powered with a US Mircojet 400 and it is flown from a 400' runway. You will love it.

David, when did you get this one? That is similar to the first one I had. I love the Coral Sea themes.

Hi Andy,

I remember watching the video of yours disappearing behind some trees and then if by magic, reappearing and being landed safely. If only I could be so lucky. It took me nearly 7 years to even consider buying another Skymaster plane after a less than satisfying experience ($5000 up in smoke) with their Bae Hawk. But anyway, I bought this plane from Rex a couple of years ago, and I'm glad I did.

David
