Status: offline 		I spoke with the owners today abut bringing back the Bucker Jungmann and they were interested. If others call them we just might get something going. I am planning on scratch building another one for a back-up.

Status: offline 		After visiting GOldbergs facility, it is obvious that the Bunker Jungmann by Goldberg is gone forever. The are going into the ARF business because no one wants to build anymore.

Status: offline 		I completed one of these last year with a 160FX and it is an excelllent power to weight combination, I did not have to add any weight at all and mounted the battery behind the lower wing trailing edge in the fuselage, I fly it with a Biela 18x8 and it has unlimited vertical, it will probably 3D but I did not build it for this reason, it weighed out right at 12lbs, not bad. With the extra power from the OS I will probably add smoke at a later time, it's a show stopper.

Status: offline 		I Personally Think They Look Good And Love The Scale Color Scheme That Was On The Box Lid. I Have 1 I Am Recovering And 1 NIB. I Also Took The Plans To Work And Used Our Printer To Enlarge Them To 110" Wing Span. I Am Currently Enlarging A Cermark Pitts To 75" Span. Hope To Fly It With A 50cc But It May Take Up To A 75 To 80cc. Have TO Wait Till Spring To See. Love Those Bipes !!!!!

Do not expect the plans to be to scale as related to the kit parts. If you were to trace the plans you would not have parts that will assemble without some difficulty, but that is what modeling is about to some of us. I found this out when making this latest Bucker which required making a fuselage from scratch.
As you can see, I used the color scheme from the box but used yellow and insignia blue instead. I did this becasue I do not see white too well in the sky at times. I also used matching colors of PPG paints for the cowling and wheel pants.

Status: offline 		I have just acquired a set of plans for it , and through ignorance I was hoping for the REAL Bucker.....has anyone tried redrawing it to look lie the original inline Bucker? The Goldberg plans are nice but........I like the original version. Looks like a heck of a re-draw.

Aware Of That But Luckily I Have A NIB Kit That I Can Get Exact Templates From And Add Or Change Where It Needs It. Just Messing Around Actually When I Was Enlarging The Plans But Then It Seemed Like A Good Idea. I'll Have To See How The Enlarged Cermark Pitts Files First.

Status: offline 		I'm recovering and renovating my old CG Bucker. I'm going to swap the saito 150 instal (sold engine) for the newer OS 120AX.

I no longer have the plans or the manual. Can someone tell me what the recommended CG point is? Thx.

Status: offline 		Re: the Goldberg Bucker CG, it would take me a looooonnnng time to dig out the plans, and today is 113 in Phoenix, with my shop not too far behind. However.....I remember making a balance beam from a popsicle stick, which attached to the bottom of the front and rear aluminum wing struts, and I had a notch in it about 3/4" ahead of the rear strut bolt. One on each side of the fuselage, stick your fingers on the notch, and there she was, per the plans. Good place to start, and you could move it back a little bit if you think that is too nose heavy.

Why not just balance it off the top wing? I got bit by that procedure many years ago, and I have a theory that the further you are above the mid-fuselage CG, the more you get a pendulum effect, with any out of balance condition dampened. Engineers may argue with this concept and if so, they are probably right, but I will continue to wallow in my happy ignorance if so :-)

Will a 90 2s work out or do I need more motor? Any flying tips? I have bipe experience..Astro Hog, and am IMAC level (basic).
