Went to the Jet Scramble at the Darby Dan airport.
There were lots of fast jets. Almost all turbine. There were even turbine helicopters.

One of the turbine powered jets performed a "waterfall" and went into an inverted flat spin.
I'm getting excited now!

The most impressive sight was a full size F-100, flown by the owner, Dean Cutshall, with Bob Violet in the rear set.
Low and slow at 45 degree bank. Kodax moment.
Low and slow right down the centerline at a small private airport and then firing the afterburners.

It was fun!

The F-100 was awesome.
I was standing by my car right by the flight line fence. On the 2nd afterburner pass I could feel my hat just about lift off my head....he was that close ! It was amazing.
All in all a good show. Didn't seem like Dan pushed his heli as hard this year, but then again I'm not sure I would just for a demo flight...I mean it's not in competition or anything.
I did see the waterfall stunt...that was cool !
Someone lost a Euro fighter I think it was, in the bean field...bummer.
A show well worth seeing though.
