Hi Guys,
I recently purchased a DeBolt bipe at a swap meet. It is complete and in excellent condition, except the vertical stab and rudder appear to have been replaced with something from another plane. The covering doesn't match, and they look quite different from pics I have seen of this plane. I want to restore the plane and display it. Where can I get plans to rebuild the stab/rudder? I've done a quick search and turned up empty. I thought my friends here could help. This is my first vintage aircraft, but I really like the look of these older planes.

Thanks

This should help. These old designs fly well, perfect for electric power and modern radio. This flew with a .29 to .35 engine back in the day. That is about 350-400 watts.

I have video on You Tube of DeBolt flying his at Syracuse, NY. in 1957.

Great footage Sid, brought back memories of my early days in R/C

Not great picture (old 8mm) but sure brings back a lot of fun memories for me.
