I had something similar happen to my Savage Flux. I was at my uncle's house and I plugged the batteries in and all of a sudden it took off like a rat on crack when it finally came to a stop it had thrown the front left wheel clean off the truck. Once it took off it hit me in the leg and then hit 2 small trees each time changing the direction of the truck it finally came to rest missing the front left wheel nut. When I finally picked up the radio it wasn't set on the right channel.

It's pretty unusual for a Savage Flux to have a runaway like that.  I mean, since they spend so much time on their lids...

SO i did 1st run today. and the esc kept turning itself off and then back on in like less then a second. so then it stopped so i drove it for like 15-18 min and then it did it a lot that time so i thought it was LVC. but it wasnt cause batts were half full. Does this normally happen? Ooo and i was running new batts too. 1st run with them also so is it those or the esc?

Can you help me guys?

What type of batteries were they?  I would try running it with a full charge on the batteries, and then see if the problem repeats.  Chances are if you ran new LiPos without charging them, the LVC was kicking in as the voltage sagged.  Or if you were running NiMhs with LVC turned on.

If you're running LiPos, double check to make sure you have the Auto LiPo function turned on.  If you're running NiMhs, make sure you have that ESC set to no LVC.

Yeah, I hit the lip of my driveway running full speed.  The rear nosed over the front, landed on the roof, skidded down the length of the driveway on the roof.  First run after I painted the shell, too.  Hahaha
