Hey what's up? Just wondering the best shock set-up for clodzilla 2 chassis. I jump this truck off everything and do not like the set-up on it now, which is shocks mounted on stand-offs from frame and angled plates on the axle stays. Doesn't seem to have even geometry and binds on articulation pretty bad even with shimming. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.....Thanks

So the binding is only there with the shocks attached? If you aren't already, try using just 4 shocks. Most of the weight of the clod is unsprung weight(weight that isn't on the shocks), so using 8 shocks is overkill anyway.

i only have four on it. it seems like it's the mounting brackets that are off, any recomendations for lower mounts that work good, thinking about just using the mounts that clamp on the links. thanks

What shocks are you using? Do they have pivot balls on the bottoms or connect to ball studs?

If they just use regular eyelets riding on bushings, that may be your problem.

just the shock eye with ball. i think i am going to go with clamp type mounts directly on the links so that they are even with the chassis. i will let you know how it works out when i do. thanks
