Here is a way to add 2 lite aluminum plates for a stronger way to mount your engine on a profile.   Oh...the airplane in the photo...next time I will go with a Red wing profile & save a lot of money.............

I felt the ply motor mounts were too soft so I opened things up and installed long maple mounts. Works fine. Plane flies very nice. Originally had OS 1.2 fs in it. Now using a Super Tigre 2300 (1.41 cid). Wonderful combination. Smooth and quiet. I do not fly gassers. Just a few glow and all rest electric. Good performer though.

The SuperTiger 2300 is one of neat engines I would like to add to my collection.   They are a true engine built for airplanes...not a converted thing!
