Wow that hull looks great!
I must say that the motor looks awfully small for a boat of that size, the esc might end up destroying it because of how much power it can handle.
Could you elaborate on how your shaft tube is broken?
You can use a pipe bender to get a nice curve along the tube. I've seen people also bend it by packing it with salt/sand or whatever other small particles and then gently bending it by hand. You could also use a rubebr mallet if you are VERY careful. The sand/salt keeps the tube from colapsing.
Good luck with your build.
Clock.

Could you fill tube with water, freeze it then bend it? The ice would stop it from buckling? I don't know if that would work but I do know that is how they put the bends in a trumpet!!!

You can give this way a try:

http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/info-pages/bend-brass-tubing.php

Or you can buy something like this:

http://hobby.dubro.com/videos/tech-tip-videos/tubing-benders_18

Here is a better one:

Did you try to anneal the tube? Heat the bend area with a propane torch until it dis-colors. Let it cool. Then bend it. The anneal process will make the bend area softer and easier to bend.

Hope this helps.

That bend looks pretty sharp, if you can work that bend over a longer stretch of the pipe I`m sure you will find it far superior.
Also, could you please specify the length of your hull?
Also, back to the motor, from what I understand those BL 3650 signify 36mm diameter and 50mm length.
I think a relatively inexpensive upgrade would be a tacon, you can pick up a good one here : http://www.hobbypartz.com/96m811-36741300kv.html
same diameter but 2.4cm longer.
2400watts.
unfortunately this one does not come with a watercooling jacket so you would have to get something made or find one for this online somewhere.
good news is that this will give you way more power.
Clock.

3650 3300 is a Turnigy inrunner annd i run mine on 2S with a 4 pitch prop like a  carbon fiber 440. Stuffing tube should be just alittle less bend except the stringer could use  a hair negative angle. Get a adjustable stringer or strut to the lenght of 72mm. Have 1 strake set extend right up to transom about 2" or 50mm down from keel. Sand strake flat to keel.

Bending brass tube is easy, install flex and bend by hand, never kinked a tube ever using this method.Do not heat brass tube to bend you will weaken it and it is not needed, its soft brass not steel. Also this hull does not need strakes it has enough lift as it is,what it does need however are spray rails at the chines which you havent done, this stops water running up the side of the boat causing drag.In the plans it shows to overlap the bottom with the sides then your suposed to leave a little overhang and shape this to form spray rails, this makes water disperse and the boat runs faster.
Mart
heres the one my 15 yr old son built for his school course work.

Very nice boat..I admire all the hard work you've put into her. My son and I recently bought an old wild thing hull at a swap meet and converted it to fe.. Last weekend was our first run. The boat handled amazingly! Ours is 32 inches (813mm) and my 9 year old son is piloting in this video clip http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=FGDTURvjoVA
we are running an Ammo 2300 motor, aquacraft 60A ESC, 42mm prop, and all Spartan hardware on the transom. I have the throttle turned down on his TX in the clip, flat out it really moves. I think you picked a great hull...and darn sexy!
Good luck with your build!
