It's not only the power, it's the maintenance, inconsistency plus it won't last that long, I would say you're lucky if you get 20 flights out of that motor and esc, plus the VE needs to have over 1500rpm headspeed to avoid the dreaded wobbles. As a matter of fact, I've seen the stock esc and motor go for $100 on ebay, it may be a good idea to try and sell it so you have that much to go towards a brushless set up rather than nothing in the near future... Despite that, the Voyager E is a cool heli and you will enjoy it, having owned one in the past I don't mean to rain on your parade in any way, I'm just trying to help, if maybe did a search on ezone or possibly here, you'll see that it's not only me but just about all the Voyager E owners will agree and you will soon find out... That motor and esc is actually supposed to be with 7 cells, but you will be wasting your money if you get seven cells because they just won't cut it, you'll probably be getting 3-4 minutes of run time with poor power and the VE needs higher headspeeds because of the weight and play in the head design, otherwise it will feel so sluggish and wobbly and no fun at all, whether your new to heli's or not... other than the stock motor and esc though, you won't need any upgrades for a while as it is a nice quality heli.. Enjoy your VE, there's a lot of cool stuff for it out too
