Based on you guys recommendations I took the brass tube out and re-bended it.

How does it look now, I think it looks much better.

Still has a little kink in it but you should be fine. Good luck.

Servo mount has been installed, still have to epoxy the nuts, it's glued down.
And the hardware has also been installed.

Time to lay down the carbon fiber cloth
A few things you will need:

1 - Gloves
2 - 2 brushes, one needs to be bent so you can reach the hard to reach areas
3 - Small container to mix the epoxy.
4 - Epoxy of course
5 - little piece of wood to make sure the cloth is nice and flat without wrinkles.

Next you'll have to mix the epoxy 50% resin, 59% hardener.

Next lay it all over the boat hull interior

The easier way I found to lay the carbon cloth was to let the actual epoxy dry a bit until it slightly thick.
I would say thicker than honey, so when you actually lay down the cloth it stays in place making easier to work with, as it doesn't move around.

By now you should have a piece of cloth cut and ready to install.
Anywhere I cut the cloth I used painters tape so the cloth itself doesn't start fraying, it would be nothing but a mess.
Painters tape all around, motor mounts, and tubing.

Getting the cloth in the hull and working with it is the tricky part.
The easiest way I found was to start laying the cloth in the middle of the hull.

After that was done I rolled both sides as tight as possible and pushed inside the hull, it worked very well.

At this time use your fingers to to flatten the carbon all around inside the hull.
I'll post more photos after it dries up.

Turnigy 180 has come in, yeah!!!!!!!

I wasn't happy with thickness of the water intake brass tubing.
I felt like it would cause some restriction in the water flow going into the ESC, I opened it up a bit.

I did on both sides, photo below only shows one side for comparison.

I'm not a fan of wiring, so I modified the wires on the Turnigy ESC...my goal will be to show the least wiring as possible.

Here is what I have done, I'm going to try to mounted today.

ESC is mounted and connected to the motor, I think the wiring turned out OK

The only thing missing is connecting the water cooling, haven't figure out where I'm going to put the water outlets.

Well...hmmm...
Everything is working, it run pretty good in the water, only went through a set of batteries.

I'm a little concern, I'm getting a lot of vibration from the flex cable when the propeller starts spinning.
Tried without the propeller just the flex cable itself same thing.

Any ideas in how to fix it, or guidance to what the problem can be.

Thank you

Check to be certain that all components are rotating on center. That is the flex cable near the coupler and the coupler itself.

The boat is up and running and it goes pretty good just need to get some footage.
I did change the motor to Leopard 4082-2200kv, and I'm running 6 cells.

It's still not tuned properly the front end keeps wanting to lift up over tiny ripples of water, the most I can go is 70% throttle, anything over that if catches a small ripple it flips.

Should I put more weight in front of the boat, should I lower/raise the propeller, some input would be great so I can get this video going.

Thanks guys

try raising the propshaft, if you can't then relocate the batteries forward.

Finally got a video, quality is not that good as I don't have a camcorder.
Max speed was a disappointing 44mph, timing on the ESC was set to Zero
I'm going to have to give it another try as the batteries have been sitting for over a month, just did a quick recharge

Temperatures were as follow:

Water temp: 73F
Motor temp: 97F
ESC Temp: 112F
Batteries Temp: 94F

That looks pretty fun. What speed goals did you have?

That's a lot of RPM. 48k unloaded. Be very careful with how you prop it.
