Status: online 		Our monthly get together 1st Sunday fell today, New Years day. I didn't expect a big turn out..but was wrong and the weather earlier in the day was much better than forecast, though the crazy few ended up flying in the drizzle late into the afternoon.
I only took my Nano (and lots of foam) as I didn't get to fly it on Friday at CJ...and I had a blast, P-60 power-brilliant model for chuck in the van and fly.
CG was blasting his Exige around and proving the greater flap works for it and his Torus. Plenty of CARF Hawks, PG with his Revision, PG with his Fox Hawk, GS Savox L-39 (both Wren 44 powered) Adam L with his Ultra Flash, "sticks" with his Bu32, Dave Butt Elan, Tim J Ultra Lightning and little Stevie with his brilliantly sorted DJ Cougar.

Great start to the year!!

Happy New Year to you too. Don't think there was any videoing going on, but really should get some Nano vid to show how great it performs.
Hadn't flown it for a couple of months and I had forgotten how great it is

you lot across the water don't no how lucky you are to have that access to all these Air bases none of that over here that we can get access to we haven't been out for weeks with all that rain, fields are to wet for the Vans to get in
it is great to see that you lot can enjoy yourselves even with a bit of rain
this time last year we got plenty of flying in with the big freeze we had
hope to see some of you guy's over this year

We are extremely fortunate to be getting the odd opportunity to fly off tarmac during this awful weather. I think I would be going crazy without that as our local club patch is also completely sodden wet. I was on my death bed yesterday with a severe dose of man flu but the opportunity to fly jets in the driving rain proved too much too resist so the van was loaded and off we went !

Hopefully the weather will improve soon and we will have to come over to you guys in force for a good ol jet fest!

Im off to put my planes away after letting them drip dry overnight....

Status: online 		Yes, rain eased right at the end, me Rob and the pupil flew Foamies till near 4! Certainly was a day to remove Tx's from there damp foam cases. I'll continue unloading this AM and then my 6 year old daughter requested last night a visit to Hendon "airplane museum" as she calls it, today!! Must have brain washed her from a baby !!
