I was just wondering if anybody has mounted a four stroke in this plane inverted with the cowl on. I have a .91 fourstroke that i ame thinking of buying this plane for but i want to know if there is enough room to mount the motor inverted under the cowl. Any thoughts would be great.

The problem you will have is the fuel tank may be too high for an inverted engine.

Yes, please verify the fuel tank placement. It may not be worth the cosmetic appeal. I learned the hard way.

Unless the fuel tank is a good 12" higher than the engine, the typical .3 - .7" difference in height we see makes absolutely NO difference to performance.

It only affects the engine PRIOR to starting, in that there is a slight chance fuel will siphon in, particularly if you leave the throttle open, or if the throttle is closed but the engine out of tune ( overly rich permitting fuel to siphon in ).

Just watch your tubing. Keep lengths as short as possible and even with the tank inlet if possible.
