I did a search and was reading up on them, and it seems to tame down your inputs.
I have my training gear off and it is a little to squirly for me.
I don`t want to change expo from were it was set up by an instructor.
Will these weights tame her down a bit ?
And if so what size and where to get and mount.
Working on hover,, FF and figure 8`s.
Thank You.

For a Raptor the black paddles are heaviest. You can add weights to tame it down more or add some expo, his setup might not match your skills or needs.

Also, the farther out on the flybar the more dampening effect they have.

How much expo do you have now?

Dr is 70 and expo is 30.
I was doing fine until I had my oops, and had to order new blades. I had some fiber glass before the incident.
When I reordered, I asked for the same, and was sent Align 3-D pro`s. CF.
This is when my problem started, it was -(MUCH)- more responsive ! To much for my comfort zone.
Not the docile beast that I was starting to try new things with and feeling very confident with the lose of my training gear.
I can`t concentrate on having fun, it`s starting to feel like work.
The weight idea looked like a cheap easy solution until the confidence level returned.

most of the online stores carry them. Ive also heard of people using wheel collars off airplanes to do the same thing. you put them on right behind the paddles. No idea on the weight tho.

Did a check, and most are 4 mm I need 3 mm. Great idea on the collars. Gonna try playing with the expo first.
