I have read several people have been useing the Hacker Q80 with good results, what I couldn´t find is information about the Q60. I wanted to know the "feeling" of the motor, power and if its capable of been used in the F3A schedules with authority.
Thanks.

I got about 40+ flights on a vanquish 2m with a Q60 for the intermediate sequence. power wise it should be comparable to other F3A motors.

I get 6200 rpm with a falcon 20.5X14.5, 3300 watts and 86 amps.

Hope this helps.

g_mkoch, thank you for your answer. Its seems the Q60 is not a "popular" motor for F3A.

I don't think that the Q60 is not a popular motor. I think it's just that the Q60 should be firewall mounted or rear mounted while most planes require the motor to be mounted on the nose ring. The Vanquish is one of the few planes that require a rear mounted motor and one of the few planes that can use a Q60 motor with much modification.
