I'm glad the cowl is removable. I really don't like how limited the 110 Wind is with motor options not requiring cutting things up.

Wonderful plane. My only concern is that maybe it's a litte big for 6 cells.

Seems like an odd size to me. Why not just go the full 2m and be done with it?

I'm more curious to see the new 2m wood biplane he has in the works.

I think its pitched at the Sportsman to advanced class of pattern flyer.

1.9m x 1.8M is nearly the same size as most full size F3A comp planes but this being probably half the cost.
If it can be flown with 6S LiPo's then its really a cost effective entry level competition plane with a modern look and feel.
Sebart markets it as a trainer.
It s a slightly bigger and updated WInd S 110

Hi,

According to Sebart catalog 2012 where MythoS 125E is shown the weight is listed as 4400 gram ready to fly less battery. Will a 6 cell LiPo battery really be enough?

I guess the power of this component is enough, but we might be not able to get enough flight time.....

As Watts = Volts x Amps it really doesn't matter how many "S" you have in the system because to have to same power you  "just" need more Amps. But more Amps is not good, therefore  ALWAYS go for less A and more V, because of a much better efficiency.

Yes this bird can fly on 6S but with very high Amps, 90-100A, and with a very special motor and batteries, hence at least 50C in order not to kill them after very few flights. Therefore 6S really does not make much sense on this bird.

From my point of view this is a very good step after Wind 110 because it can take almost any motor and be very competitive either on 8S or 10S. If the price will be competitive, hopefully not more than 20-25% higher than Wind110 was, in that case Seba might have a winner over some other new entries in the "balsa 2x2 F3A" segment.

the mythos looks nice but as it seem to way more then the 2m wind s pro
dont see how it works on 6s for the time needed for the pattern stuff around 7 mins plus flying  (sorry about the spelling)
although new ish to the flying thing the sebart guy seems to know what he is doing
both the misswind and the angel are very smooth

although iv only flown the above planes and a short bit of time on a wot 4 and an exstream flight 48" vanquish maybe i dont know what im talking about

This is strange because even with a 4500 or 5000mAh 6S the model will weigh over 5kg, because these batteries will weigh at least 700 grams. Some of the numbers are not quite right. Also, turning a 20x12 prop on a 6S??

I don't know, but then I don't have any experience with this size model. I have two 2-meter ships (flown on 5S x 2 in series) and a 62-inch wingspan Osiris which I fly on 5000 or 4400mAh 5S.

So given the numbers of your pack weight, 4400g + 590g = 4990g. If they're correct, this model's weight is already on the ragged edge of 5kg.

It will be interesting to see the feedback from guys when they're actually flying them this spring and summer.

The weight seems in the ball park for a 1.9m x1.8m plane with motor and ESC.

You can probably lop 400gr off the plane by binning the Sebart landing gear. Those units are made of depleted Uranium

how does the osiris fly ?

Gordon, the Zippys (20C) are 581g, Nanos (25C) are about 623g, Sky 4400 (40C) are 570g, Rhinos (20C) are 617g. I don't fly it with the Rhinos because they are dedicated pairs for the 2-meter models. It performs well with all of them. Less flight time with the Sky 4400s but the performance is superb and enough to fly AMA Advanced plus time left over for few more maneuvers. Doubled them up and flew them in the Spark with identical results.

It should be noted that my Osiris is set up to be light and weighs 6lb 5.5oz with the sky 4400s.
