Ya ordered some for that reason.  I read in the manual about that signal thing and it says simply walking closer can regain connection?  That's what it looked like I did yesterday and it worked apparently so not sure.

Took out the summit to local park in the dark. Only summit in the dark + two rabbits to chase! That was fun! With my new 5000mha 40c lipos the truck drives very well.

Only thing I noticed that front right wheel hub is a bit wobbly. Maybe it is time for big overhaul soon or then I just drive it until something big breaks. That just seems to be very hard to do?

Ya sorry I have those bookmarked, I think I'm confused.  I thought those were the half shafts from the gear box to the tires, not the main shaft itself.

So basically, those will replace my drive shaft complete.  Anything else I need to complete the change out?

So is the whole dual desalt motor setup over doing it.  Been looking through the upgrades and wondering how it performed.

Ya figured that.  Im looking at putting the single dewalt motor in at a minimum.  Get the steel shafts and the slipper clutch upgrade you mentioned.  Due to those tires you linked a bit ago,  the giant tires with those prototype chain studs.  I just got 2 of them from the owner.  Cept their on the stock tire/rims with sealed foam installed.  I'll be doing testing for him with just the reader set.  That's why I was asking on what other common wear items might need upgraded to steel.

PS. You live in Dothan?  I used to live in panama city, stationed at tyndall AFB and used to drive to or through Dothan all the time.

Yeah man. PC is just an hour and a half drive away. I also want a single dewalt setup. Ive heard u gain like 5 mph which would be perfect for the summit.

The Dewalt took me from 19mph to 25mph.  To get the speed you've got to up the pinion to 18 or 19.  The Dewalt is fine with it.

That's right 18 or 19, remember it's a 32 pitch with a 5mm hole.  It can also be referred to as a "mod .8", same thing for our machine.  I run the 18 with stock Canyon tires and Proline Trenchers.

The electronic diff T- lock was used in the original AM radio summits. It divided/ diverted the 3 way differential locking switch signal towards the rear of front differential as selected.
Not used in the current 2.4 ghz summits

There is a video on YouTube with twin Dewalts.  I don't remember if he had them both on one ESC or not.  He did go into overtemp pretty quickly though.  Also the Canyons were not liking the speed either.  The stock Canyon tires are OK up to around 20mph or so.  Once I installed the Dewalt I decided to put on Trenchers for bashing.
