No u said u cant wait to throw the racers edge as far as u can so i said tie it up to the summit and drag it down the road! That would be a good vid if u have a cam to mount to the back facing rear.

That's why I'm thinking about getting that set off the snap on guy. It's a little more then online but comes with the snap on warranty if any of the bits strip or break he will replace them

I also got some of this hvac aluminum tape and put in between the hex hub and the end of the axle where u tighten the wheels down and there is like 1% wobble in the wheels now!!!! Dont know how long it will last but it works for now.

It splits the current? So would the onyx 245 system be a better bang for my buck as it doesn't need an adapter and will charge two batts at a total of 5a a piece yeah it's a little slower then the traxxas but an over all time for two lipos will be faster I'd imagine.

I've had the Onyx 245 for a year now, the only reason I bought it was the fact I needed to charge 2 batteries and it was the only one my LHS had in stock.  I'm still only running NiMh's, but it does a fine job   The only shortcoming of the 245 is that it does not have a "storage mode" for storing LiPo's.  An easy work around is to watch the voltmeter and pull them off when you reach your preferred "storage level".

So, you are having problems without the caps.  Is it a range issue or glitching, or both?  I was worried, so I put them on mine.  What pinion are you running?  I'm using 18p/68s and love it

This particular link states .047 micro farad capacitors.  Anything larger (ie. .1 micro farad, 1 microfarad will do fine too).  The key is to use these ceramic disk capacitors and not electrolytics.

The motor in the article is different, but the wiring method is the same.  If you like, I'll post a picture of how mine are wired.

So I got a call from my lhs today and it was the owner Betty she called me to tell me my chargeer would be there thursday, and then she sai "but I also have some bad news" this is never what I want to hear. Anyways the bad news was that traxxas no longer carries the summit with NiMh bateries anymore and the only one available is the one that comes with two lipos instead. I asked her how much that was and she told me $750.....Wait **** $750 I thought it was bad enough I was spending 6 bills already. She said she was going to talk to traxxas tomorrow and see if theres something she we can do. That pretty much means Im burnt in other words.
Imo seeing how this shop already has over $400 of my money I am going to see if she will just use an online dealer like tower and just order it from them I looked and the still have the nimh models. Id be fine with the lipo version because I plan on getting lipos anyways but the ones that come with the truck are 5000mah and those useless wall chargers we all love to have taking up space for another $150 I could get two batts way larger then that for still less money.
Im done being mad about it. Im not mad at Betty or Rcadiction for that matter as it not their fault traxxas cut production I even called traxxas myself and recieved the same info :-( in hopes she blowing smoke up my pants.
So let me ask you guys is it wrong of me to ask her to order it from an outside source or should I just bite the bullet and accept the fact that theres not much that can be done but pay way for for extras I dont even want?
