Can I ask that someone would be so kind as to sum up the different brushless setups than have been mentioned here, I went thrue the tread , and saw that several spoke about their setup. Can't seem to find them all again.

Ore if it's just a few proven to work really well in the summit, not beeing a a..ripping axel breaking gearbox killer settup, just overall fun BRL setup for this rig, please point me in the right direction.

Thanks a bunch.

 Ok here we go

There's the HobbyWing Xerun  http://www.hobbypartz.com/07e-combo-m6a.html  I have this combo and i love it!!!

Then the Castle Creations Mamba Monster www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p Which this system has always been known to be Super Powerful

And the Tekin RX8 www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p And this has been a known fav for a lot of racers

So all in all (IMO) the Xerun would be the best choice because it sensored, lower in price but high in quality. Cause the CC MM isn't sensored so it coggs a lot when you trey to crawl. And a lot of people say that unless your racing the Tekin is just overpriced when you can get the Xerun

Hey Pyro have you heard anything about the new waterproof brushless system from HobbyWing? I'm tempted to try it out but I'm worried it might cog due to the fact it's sensorless, I've read over on URC that the motor is pretty smooth though. I can't find the combo on HobbyPartz but they're on ebay for around $160 with a program card.

I have the 2150 in my buggy. It coggs a little but if you don't plan on doing low speeds then either will work!

Nice Exo you have there Hunter.

Thanks. Yeah its a pretty neat little truck (well not literally little, lol, it's the size of a 1/8th buggy) and really isn't nearly as hard to work on since I left the body off. I would highly recommend one.

Yep that's all they changed. LVC, new TQi radio and the updated graphics on the body.

More questions.

I have a few of the Team orion rocket pack hardcase lipos. 2s 5000mha 30c. Is this something that will fit in the battery room on the summit.? I mostly run boat's and those hardcase lipos was a miss buy. Hardcase in boat's don't work well.:-\
I also have a several 2s 4400-4500 -5000 45-90 and 65-130c lipos. What size lipos do fit, I'm thinkin of selling, ore keeping them for a summit if they fit.

the spec's say(I'm at work right now so I cant messure them)

65-130c 5000:
Length-A(mm) 151
Height-B(mm) 48
Width-C(mm) 19

45-90
Length-A(mm) 154
Height-B(mm) 49
Width-C(mm) 16

65- 130 4400mah
Length-A(mm) 151
Height-B(mm) 48
Width-C(mm) 17

Orion:
Abmessungen: 140 x 47 x 26 mm

What do you guy's mostly run in the summit ? Thanks

Stian
