I've been doing a lot of reading and research on-line on different Hitec servos trying to pick appropriate servos for my Funtana 90/DLE 20 combo. The more I read, the more confused I get. There seems to be a large discrepancy between some older and newer versions of servos of the same model/part number. How can I tell if I'm getting the newest version of a particular servo model or some older version out of some "new old stock" that has been sittihg on a shelf in someone's stockroom or warehouse for years? I've narrowed my choice down to the HS-5625MGs but want to make sure I get the latest/greatest version.

. Servo Chart = HTML
(HTML online is one page, a PDF copy split into four pages is attached)

. 2011 Catalogue - low res version.
. Servo Desk Mat = 2010 (Colour Printable PDF).
Listed under categories with individual spec sheets:
. Digital Servos
. Analogue Servos

Each servo or box generally has at least one sticker  "dot"
The green leaf means RoHS compliant =  the product is environmentally friendly.
Dot with number, if affixed,  represents date of manufacture. e.g.
07 08 were made August 2007 and so 06 06 would have been made June 2006.
(Hitec's dates are always year then month.)
Trash can with X thru = heavy metals, do not dispose in garbage.
Please allow for plenty of time for packing, seafreight, clearance and redistribution
and especially that production runs for a servo may be only once, if that, per annum
given the very wide range of products.
Servo - Horn Arm Spline Count and Inter Brand Compatibility has the Hitec horn charts
Hitec RCD Korea and Hitec RCD Philippines background information, Factory Photos
& Videos of production line may be of interest..

Just checked some HS-55s and some HS-625s I received last week. The only sticker anywhere (checked box and servo) is a leaf sticker on the servos that says "pass". ??????????????
