So I was out running My B44 really well, until I made a wide turn into the back drivers tire of a friends car:

Broke my front arm and my front shock tower almost snapped through and through. No worries though, I already ordered the parts. This is the excitement I've been missing. Now I have a reason to start unscrewing parts off lol!

There isn't much protection at all on that car. Doesn't someone sell an aftermarket bumper for it?

no there is not. most people run this car on a track, not beating it in the street.

like most 4x4 buggies, you crash them hard, they will break

Once repaired ill be in a much more open spot to run. After that run I almost want to try custom fitting a bumper for better protection

Got ahold of some front and rear bumpers from T-Bone Racing. Very Strong stuff too!

Got a problem.... When My tires are under load there is a loud slipping noise, but when i have the car in hand and accelerate, no problems at all. What are some places to look besides checking my slipper for tightness?

Besides the slipper, your ball differentials may not be tensioned properly and could be slipping.  They make a harsh rubbing sound when they slip.  Otherwise your pinon gear grub screw may have come loose and the gear is slipping on the motor shaft.

BKoz559,

I checked the slipper and ball diff, all were fine, checked the grub screw and it was tight. However, I found that my motor pinion was not completely meshed with the other gear(can't think of it off the top of my head right now). I must have hit a nasty bump for that to happen. But it's back to normal

Recently I noticed that my front bulkhead was also broken when I had that first wreck with the Shock tower and front arm. Have a spare on hand and ready to repair as soon as I can
