If I were you I would try to find a Vmax7 engine, complete with clutch and clutchbell.
You could also get a 12 size Car engine with pullstart using a team associates clutchbell.
For canopy, either have a look at shopatron or go with a t-rex canop.

Hi, you can get brand new vmax 7 here.

http://www.nvengines.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=69

As Peter said, trex canopy not bad on lmh actually. I used to mod my lmh with a .12 pull start car engine (video below)
The problem i had is the main blades always got brittle and crack at the blade roots, not sure if it is bad batch or i rev it too high with the car engine?

but now it is converted to electric. for other mechanical parts, you cna get replacement from multiplex funcopter.

Peter, what is the latest update of you lmh? it has been a while since we last 'talked' here.

Cheers.

Hi Peter,

Yes, I am still lurking here

as we speak, i just crashed my Norvel 1/2A tutor plane, which was converted into electric for her maiden flight in electrics. I think the prob was not correctly sized and i wasnt responding fast enough...

I suppsoe your car is a petrol? anyway, i have now a 1/6 scale as well, but it is a gasser heli! Old hirobo Bell 47G!
it is by far much bigger than the lmh but i enjoy flying both !

enjoy flying fellow lmh pilots!
