Hi,

Just ordered GP Reactor Biplane 61 ARF. Can“t decide whether to get DLE-20 gas engine, YS 115s or an electric motor to make it to 3D. Can an electric set up beat DLE-20 and YS 115s in 3D?

- What electric motor (brand and model) would you recommend?

- What size and model of APC prop (e.g. APC 16x6E) would you recomend?

- What batt pack (e.g. Thunder Power Pro G4 6s 3850 mA 30C disc) would yopu recommend?

If an electric set up could give me a nice 3D performance, then I would prefer it as cleaning of the planes is rather boring....

Many thanks for your help :-)

Yeppe

You must have seen this thread right?

I haven't seen a side by side comparison. I'd guess the YS would give you the best overall 3D. Personally I don't like the sound of the small gassers or 2S glow powerplants so if it were me I'd lean toward the electric or YS if I had one laying around and didn't mind the mess.
