Dennis starting his euro fighter.
Mike's cub: he kills his engine and re-starts it in the air and also drops 'medical supplies'.
Carl prep'ing his plane.
Paul's B-26.
Night show of the air balloons.
Paul showing Dr. Curtis (WW II P-51 pilot) his stuka.
Dr. Curtis presentation speech in the AMA building. A great speaker and told many funny stories.
Besides Dr. Curtis to my right, is the other Sam, to my left, who was the MC on the flight line all week end. Sam did an excellent job of informing the general public (and me) about many of the planes that were flying.
Somehow, I manage to pack six planes into my trailer.

15 minutes of fame!

The local paper put two articles in the paper.
One about Dr. Curtis and the other about my planes.
The planes being such a babe magnet, I'll now have to start wearing sunglasses to go incognito! (actually, I was the only one at the field that early so the writer picked me!).

ps: click on the purple button to enlarge for reading.

Enjoyed the piics and the articles. The writer picked a good subject however that happened. I was reading through the article on Dr. Curtis and realized I read his book a couple of years ago. Got the paperback in my library. may have to read it again.

Sam you went through Eaton,Oh where I went to school and farmed most of my life. Looks like when you went past the Arabian horse farm it is on rt.35 out of Eaton going toward Richmond,In. The bank where the clock was at was called for many( 40 plus ) years Preble County Bank until US Bank took it over.
Thanks for the pics
