I bought the Chaos from RCA and the Fuse from another member. I am using a vipor 1300 kv with a 5 cell 4000mah bat.

Are the side frames metal or plastic. I thought all the chaos kits were carbon fiber.

Mike,
It came with CF side frames but the UH-1B kit has metal side frames to lower the mechanics which are for the T-REX 600. I do not believe that all kits come with CF frames. The Chaos 600 was set up for push/pull for the servos but with using the supplied side frames I will not get to use this.

Im looking at the torque tube version with 630kv scorpion and cc ice280HV with servos and external bec and the g jive 600 size in red. I talked to Robert today and still kicking it around. The reason I say that is I can get a trex 600e super combo and the fuse from RCA for a few dollars more kinda hard to buy a clone when I can get a proven heli for a few dollars more. Choices choices

Wayne,

Have you figured what head speed your going to get out of that combination, and what flight times do you think you will get with the 6 cell. I went ahead and bought the Chaos 600 limited edtion super combo, red 600 size MD500 G-jive, and another 500 size little bird fuse.I will post pics up this weekend if i get it Friday or Saturday.

Sorry I had to go out of state for an emergancy, I am back now! I should get 1800 to 2000 rpm and no less than 6-7 min. If needed i will go to 6 cell. If the motor/bat or ECS get to hot. I will post more pic's soon. I got my motor and servos in while I was gone.

Hey Mike, if you like post all your pic's here of your new stuff. That way no need to bounce around.

When putting the tail slidder together do not overtighten this screw, you will have a sticky slide.

Hey Mike, sorry to hear about the surgery, hope all is ok. I am ready for flight testing but it has been cold and windy. I did notice that the CF blades that came with it are out of balance, it took a lot of tape to fix. I will re-balance for a third time to insure that it is not me. I also orderd a cock pit for the UH-1B, I just need to find the correct size pilots. As soon as I am done testing I will do more pic's on installation.

Yeah,  the surgery was unexpected so trying to take it easy. I will start posting up some pics this weekend on my sport scale fuses. I have been looking into multi-blade setups and man there is a lot to wrap around and understand. Your project looks to be coming along nice though. I have read a couple of reviews on guys droping these chaos mechs in marvel craft fuses with success as well.looking forward to your update once you get it in the air
