Status: offline 		I just got the ok to buy the new emaxx but do you guys think it is worth the $600 or should i just get the 3903 for $400 probley buying this week what do you guys think.

But you can get a Thunder Tiger MT4 G3 for $500!  Better truck than all 3 and cheaper, too!

Are you sure about the price of the Flux?

Status: offline 		yes it is worth it. by the time you buy the brushed version and upgrade to brushless you will spend more money than just buying the brushless version to start with. the truck does have some weak points but are easily fixed, so yea i say go for the brushless version.

you keep saying TT MT4 is the "best in the world" but in reality its mail order only for parts, and its a Thunder Tiger so its never going to take off and be popular here in the states. People said the Duratrax Warhead was such a good truck but look where that is now? Its in the garbage, thats where!

Status: offline 		Ok now that i have looked at a thousand diffrent reviews i think i might go with the savage 2350. it is a little cheeper and it sounds very durable. But the E-Maxx is a thousand time easyer to work on but it needs rear bulk heads and a arms and shock towers right out of the box. THIS IS SO FRUSTRAITING TO MANY CHOICES AND UPS AND DOWNS.

The E-Maxx is a "GOOD" truck but the Savage Flux HP is a "GREAT" truck.

Status: offline 		Oh wow, I forgot how shiny they are when they're new.  Congrats!  From my Flux experiences I will tell you that the body will not stay that pretty for long.  Monster trucks are fun to drive and even more fun to drive hard!  With that, the truck will end up on it's lid frequently and that kind of action tears bodies up.  Use that as an excuse to buy a new one you can paint yourself.  On average a new shell runs $30-$40.

Oh, one last thing.  I strongly encourage that you take time to balance the wheels/tires.  You can find a thread on that here on RCU.  Basically you stick small amounts of clay inside the rim to correct any weight imbalances.  This will take strain off the motor, ball bearings and the whole truck really and help you run smoother and faster.  I almost say it's mandatory if you want to run 2 3S LiPo packs.

Status: offline 		I remember when my flux looked all shiny like that.....for about 5 minutes I pretty much trashed my body the first day. Be sure to lock your slipper down tight! And be sure to loctite the pinion gear grub screw. Also unless you want to go through pinion gears you should convert to a plastic spur gear. Have a blast with it! I know I still do after 2 years!
