it is an aerobatics comp, just at joe average level and spot landing added coz we all like it. if you ace the aeros and do well in spot and pylon you'll probably win

so your not good enough to do a routine?
you could tell them your gonna do each move in a set, and to mark it when they see it. most people do one at a time when asked.. only a simple club comp after all

as for hanging, if you saw the no wind one its cause i didn't like pointing it at me so it wandered.. i had it the other day hovering next to a heli and i was keeping stiller (?) than him but thats dull, i like to play with the throttle and controls a bit more and keep it moving.. thats if the famous north cliffs turbulence isn't doing it for me

Blimey I read your last post at the top of the page after mine and went away too see which day was gonna be better weather and now all this!

Looks like Saturday is better weather less windy but I would have to leave about 3pm as got friends coming over for dinner on Saturday night. Sundays weather is looking a bit windier down your way, but I'll make up my mind which day I'll be coming nearer the time!

Will be bringing pbf and glens cap, don't see the point of the cougar as it sounds like dean and you will have yours there too.

wind is only important if its north....

i was up at 6.30 to go see that balloon, but just as they started filling it the damn thing ripped, thats i for this year. it has a solar powered rc plane onboard too to take pics at 132,000 feet

didn't know you had a Panther pattern...

the Capche will be better with some wind, will make spot landing easier, but too much and i can harrier the Cougar deadstick onto the spot

terry clegg gave it to me- its very nice, flies great

that balloon thing was a bit of an anti climax-yesterday it was postponed because of the clouds and the ice or something and now you say its ripped?

done another night shift?

a plastic weld broke near the top and as they filled it every guy on the ship sounded like micky mouse

not flying today, but sitting in the garden painting the Spitfire and sanding the Zero in the sun sounds good.

Cabane,

no dramas you can just use mine! Its not like its valuable...

Philly,

Ok, I'll see what needs an outing. I need to put the motor and servos in the Glens yet so if I don't get time o do that I'll bring the Cougar, But will be putting the 3010s in so it should be good when done. I can only fit 2 models in the car so it'll be a surprise!

Brains,

Are you going to bring your Glens Cap? I'm leaning towards the saturday it'll be nice tyo finally meet you and see you fly!
