Basically, i've been saving up for an E-Revo or Baja 5b. Both of which have their pro's and cons.

I like the Baja because it's huge, it sounds great, and is very "mechanical". But the con is they are expensive to fix.

I like the E-revo because it's VERY fast, and replacement parts aren't too expensive. But the con is it has the "kid toy" feel/look, despite the performance.

What are your opinions on these , folks?

Thanks!

I love gasers. They do cost a lot but they are so much fun and easy to maintain. I have a Baja 5b and a FG and they are great. If you beat the hell out of them they are gona break but they are pretty durable.

Why not a savage Flux? Its in the same price range, and is a beast. also thunder tiger has a super strong brushless truggy/ monster truck. You won't be disappointed performance wise.

I really liked the overall "baja look". The Flux is a pretty neat rig, but I'm looking for something a little lower to the ground. The E-revo has that quality too of being "sporty" and low to the ground, lol.

Between the Baja and E-Revo definately the Baja. I had a Brushless E-Revo and got bored of it quick.

They are 2 completly different platforms.  What do you want to do with it?  I have both gassers and electrics and I love em both, but I guess if money was not an issue I would get the gasser.  I love the 5th scale platform. But if you want something to launch off jumps and just beat on I would then lean towards the Revo.

launch off jumps and beat on, baja. 30-45 min runtimes and only stopping to fill up is maximum bash time.

Hpi is coming out with gas powered engines is a few of their 1/8 scale r/c's. Might be something to wait on if you want a gas engine on a smaller platform.

5B by far. Of the two I wouldn't even think twice.
