Anyone have an idea what a rapid beeping and only seeing the model selected when you first turn on an OPTIC 6 Sport transmitter.

Well if it is like the Auroa 9 you may have the thottle above idle or have a mode switch in a non basic flight condition.

1. What voltage is displayed?  Battery inserted with reversed polarity generally results in:.
1) Voltage displayed is aproximately 10.4 V in lieu of 7.4v<8.4v.
2) Dim LCD seen and little or no LCD contrast except at say 45°

2. Optic 6 Sport Low Battery Alarm is fixed at 6.6v for NiMH,
check battery with a loaded volt meter in case there is a faulty cell.
If battery is not showing at least 7.4v under load, try a replacement battery.

3. PPM or 2.4GHz version?  
2.4GHz Optc 6 Sport produces a continuous beeping from the built in RF module
 when reporting  Optima Transceiver battery is below LBW setting..

If display is showing a higher than usual voltage or replacement battery does not resolve issue,
refer to: Hitec Warranty & Service
Note: Hitec USA only services North/South America and Canada.
All other countries see appropriate distributor for service.
• If you are from a country that is outside North and South America, please contact the
Hitec distributor in your country for service.
