Hey guys havent been on here for a while been over in the mini section because I been running my savage xs lately (fun little truck by the way). SO I just bought a savage flux hp my batteries finally came in today for it, like a week after I got the truck had to sit and look at it forever waiting on the batteries. So today I took it out for the first time and I was driving it pretty slowly and noticed the brakes dont seem to stop it very well. It was facing downhill in my driveway and the brakes would not hold it still. Im not sure what to expect out of it cause like I said it was my first time driving it. Also I noticed when I apply the brakes it makes a weird noise kinda like a harmonic humming noise is this normal? Had to cut it short cause of the rain so let me know what you guys think.

prolly in your settings. It might only be set for 50% brakes or whatnot. Not sure how they come from the factory

The brakes are only supposed to stop the truck and cant hold the truck in place on a hill or anything. Be carefull not to set the brakes too high on the ESC or it WILL endo! The noise you are hearing is perfectly normal.

^ Yes!  Additionally that noise is a combination of the big electric motor and the large toothed steel gears clashing together.  That sound tripped me out when I first got my truck.

Also, regarding the braking power, as CR500rider stated too much brake is probably worse than where it's set right now.  If you hit brakes in mid jump, the truck will spin into a forward flip.  Looks cool at first until it lands on it's lid; then it's not so cool when you have a smashed body.

Yeah I think I got it working right now. Just had to re calibrate the esc think I got it now. On another not I would have to say this truck is a ton of fun I have had to much more fun with it than I ever did with my nitros, a lot more durable to.
