Hi Ian,
The turbine is actually dialed back to around 60 lbs. This would fly quite well with a Jetcat 200, however I wanted the extra thrust margin for tests, as a lower powered engine is somewhat marginal on vertical maneuvers (as was the real plane)

Beutiful plane. Looks like maticulas work to scratch build. Wonderful of you to share. I'll have to stick to gas and nitro. My wife is supportive, but not that supportive. I started late in life with RC and although I'm a fair pilot, I occasitionay dump one to mechanical failure or just stupity on my part. If I dumped something like yours I would be in mourning for months.

There isn't any info on this plane it is scratch built. Like it says the molds will be going to Mibo jets so you will just have to wait for its release.

Mike, that's a beautiful plane, and it looks absolutely fantastic in the air!!! I had to watch the entire video in silence, though - that extremely irritating music ruins the experience -
would you please post another one without any music at all?

I am still working on the plug, slowly but surely. Nowhere near where Mike is obviously, but it sure is nice to see an Intruder in the air!! I put it up right now to do some projects for a buddy of mine that lost his fleet in a fire so as soon as those are done I will pull it back down.

Guys, Mike has answered the question about kits, please read the thread!!!

The molds will ultimately go to MIBO and should they choose to produce a kit then you will be able to get one from them.

Mike,

A truly awesome accomplishment!! This is one I'll have to start saving for!

Though the flight video is great, I do have to add my request to others already expressed: If you have any input, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE ditch the awful music soundtrack on future videos. I just want to hear the sound of the turbine combined with the awesome flights! That music is sooooooo distracting!

Thanks,

David S

Hi Ian, I will get you some photos of the different control surfaces. Dave, it sounds like I will have to give up my career scoring movies before it has even had a chance to "take off" so to speak.
