Scouring the net, as you do, for bargains that is, I couldn't resist the chance on a Kontronik Pyro 30-12 510Kv 6mm motor that popped up in Midland's second hand listing. I know this might be a bit of overkill for my CH53E but you don't look a gift horse in the mouth! One thing I do know is that I won't have any problem swinging the 7 blade rotor head that is still in the design stages for the build. This project is getting more involved all the time and I don't want to lose sight of the target, but I want this bird to turn heads on the ground and in the air so that is why all the custom made parts and systems that are going into the build.

SWMBO is starting to complain about the mounting costs but if I replace the laundry equipment that will give me a bit of breathing space to push the budget out a bit more!

"What was that, Honey? A new stove too? Well in that case. I'm having a Jive 80+HV!"
