It seems to be electric.

Both rotors are engaged to the same gears, as it can be seen when turning at lower speeds, or I am wrong? If so, then how does the heli change heading? Does the rudder channel work on the gyro to make the heli spin?

Status: offline 		Yes, they are synchronized through the transmission. Bad bad things happen when they de-synchronize.

As for rudder control (yaw) there's a pretty complicated electronic mixer used for those things but the end result is, when you give left "rudder" the forward head applies a bit of left cyclic, and the aft head applies a bit of right cyclic, and the result is the heli pivots on the yaw axis.
