Clay and Debbie Sherrow, and the entire Board of Directors of TIMPA would like to personally invite you to attend the Tucson Jet Rally.

Location: Tucson International Modelplex Park Association
3250 N Reservation Rd ~ Web site (http://www.timpa.org)
Latitude: 32.26474° North
Longitude: 111.27386° West

Arrive early and enjoy our beautiful southwest flying site. Plenty of free RV parking to registered pilots, we do not have hook-ups.
We will not have a noon time show or a noon time aircraft line-up on the runway.
We will implement the “Behind the Scenes Tours” for our speculators as piloted and was very successful at Desert Storm 2012.
Food service will be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

$40.00 Pilot Entry Fee
$15.00 Saturday, Tri-Tip Dinner and Awards

Status: offline 		Go on Bob you know you can do it, only a few more miles and with the amount you are going to do this year it will make no difference. Looks like a really nice site and for sure will be relaxed as it was at "Desert Storm". Wish I was coming, maybe another year, we will be up in Salt Lake skiing but thinking of you in the warm having fun.

I originally had this event for those dates, and then I was under the impression that the dates had been changed to the previous weekend 2nd - 4th. So now I am not sure, as everything is posted as 9th - 11th. Sorry if I mislead you Steve.

Status: online 		Had a great day on Thrusday, some pilots showed early to get tuned up for the weekend event.

Weather was great light winds most of the day.

We even had our friends from England, flying a Polestar, and Habu 32 with a P20.

Just few pictures for fun.

Plus the Ladies went to Tubac, AZ for shopping.

Status: offline 		Just returned from Saturday's flying! The weather was FANTASTIC! Temperature was probabbly mid 60's with mostly calm winds with occational gusts to 5-8 mph down the runway. A great day for flying, not too terribly busy, no lines just start and fly anytime you wnated. There were a couple of incidences but nothing too major. I hope someone can post pictures as I did not bring my camera. Thank you Debbie for a great event.

Status: offline 		Tucson Jets was fantastic. A big thank you to Debbie, Clay, and the Timpa club for all their hard work and EXCEPTIONAL hospitality. Nancy and Mr Bentley certainly enjoyed their first jet rally and can't wait for Tucson Jets 2013. The redneck wine glass has a place of honor at home. The iphone wasn't cooperating much so we only got a couple of photos of the awards. Hopefully some other folks will post photos of the rest of the awards.
