Here she is now. I run out of balsa wood to make the cowl. And excited as ever, I took her off just as is. I just so love the way she flies! B-E-A-UTIFUL!!! Ok, so I must admit. My favorite right now.

Here is my MK collection. Unfortunately the Sky Star decided to get back to a kit after 250 flights. The Synergy and the Top Star are still in use.

This is my MK lot.

I built them all from kit. Best part of the hobby for me..... I don't get out much!!
Radio, engines, kits, & accessories all from Probuild UK.

Henning, love your models.

Claude, how is the Synergy progressing?

Great looking airplanes from both of you!!
I have a Topstar ready to fly with an OS 1.40RX - any comments about this airplane; how does it fly? I have a SKystar 90 that is framed and will be finished this winter. I love MK kits, both to build and to fly. I fear that MK may not be producing kits anymore... very sad if it is true.
Thanks for sharing photos of your collections!!
-Will
PS I'm flying an MK SUper VR-90 (powered with a Hanno Special) and an MK Silent 90 (powered with an OS 61VF - it is a bit of a rocket ) - both fly great!

Jwmm: Thanks!

Flywilly: The Top Star flies great. It tracks like its on rails. Just like the other planes designed by Kato.

Atlanta 60: The Sky Star flies very similar to the Top Star.

Hi Henning,
Great shot of the Katos!!
Thanks for the info on the flight characteristics of your MK fleet. How would you compare the Topstar to the Skystar? How much difference between a 90/110 pattern ship and a 2 meter plane?
Thanks,
Will

The flight characteristics are almost the same. Top Star and other 2 meter planes are just more stable. It handles wind better and due to its size it’s easier to see.
